The Challenge is a nearly 17K course in which participants will run up and down close to 30 staircases for a total close of 3000 steps... Each will be given a bib to the color of the Challenge on which the names of the staircases will be printed on. The start and the finish is at the Quebec High School in Quebec City.

Water and Gatorade will be offered on the course.

During the event, the streets taken by participants will not be closed to traffic. However, main intersections will be managed by the police.
