Challenge (10K)

New in 2010 : 3 competitions en 1 !

   • The best performance

   • The best climber

   • The best sprinter

The best CLIMBER

It's in the last staircase of the course, the Cap-Blanc (yep... 398 steps...), that all participants will be invited to compete in order to crown the best climber of the Quebec City Staircase Challenge.

The best SPRINTER

It's once at the top of the Cap-Blanc staircase that the print to the finis line will start. It's in this last part of the course, of about 1.5K, that the running speed of each participant will be measured.

Time Limit

The limits have not yet been defined.

Timing

The ChampionChip system will be used for the Staircase Challenge. The ChampionChip system consists of an electronic timing device that is fixed to the participant's shoe and permits clocking the running time of each participant.

Each participant will be provided with a timing chip at the same time as they receive their bib number. Participants are responsible for the return of the chip at the finish line. For those who do not complete the race, you must return your chip at the finish line or mail it to the Run Quebec City Office.

An amount of $40.00 will be invoiced to you if you do not return the timing chip at the end of your race.

No chip, No time!
No chip, No medal!
