The SSQ Quebec City Marathon |

On August 30, the SSQ Quebec City Marathon will present its
12th edition. It is close to 6,000
participants, from all over the world, that will be part of all
events: Marathon (42.2K), Half-Marathon
(21.1K), 10K Race, or the McDonald's Kids Run (5K - for kids from 7 to 14 years old). |

The SSQ Quebec City Marathon

This annual walk is an occasion for people of all ages to raise
money and to give hope by participating in this fundraising
activity. |

A limited quantity of cards will also be on sale at the
Pfizer Sports and Fitness Expo Show and at the Pasta Dinner's
entrance. |

and medals |
All participants
registered will receive a souvenir T-Shirt. All participants finishing the Health 5K will receive a medal for completing the
course. Please note that only those participating to the Marathon, the Half-Marathon the 10K Race and McDonald's Kids Run, wiil receive a certificate. |

| Gifts among all participants |
Gifts will be drawn among all
participant registered to one of the events. To know if you are a
winner, look for the blue board in the arrival area. |

| Gathering site before the start
and finish site |
The morning of the race, betwwen 6 am and 7:20 am, participants are
invited to gather on Abraham-Martin street, behind the Marina, from
where they will be shuttles to their respective starting site.
The finish site, for all races, will be on Saint-Paul
street, near the famous Gare du Palais train station. All the after
race activities will be held in the park next to the station. |

The morning of the race, shuttles will leave according to the following

For lack of time, there is no shuttle offered to friends
and family for the McDonald's
Kids Run and for the Health 5K. |

| Starting
Site |
The Health 5K starting site is on Champlain
Boulevard, near the Côte Gilmour, in Quebec City. It is also the McDonald's Kids Run starting site. Water, gatorade, coffee
and toilets will be available.
There are very few parking spaces at this starting site.
Therefore it is not recommended to drive there.
Futhermore, no transportation will be available to get back
there after the race.

| Course |
Participant to the
Health 5K will walk or run the last 5 kilometers of the
Marathon's course, starting on Champlain Boulevard, from Côte
Gilmour, then Dalhousie Street and finishing at Quai St-André Street. |
|

Every kilometer is identified with distinct yellow markers,
set out
on the right side of the street.
Streets taken by participants
will be closed to traffic,
to assure better security.
Water will be available between the start and finish site. |
